I have managed to set up a Modern Warfare 2 server for us!

Now get the game and start beating ass! Very Happy

Works pretty good too And I am working on setting up remote admin access also... not too difficult from what I am seeing...

Hey Tom, how do you search for our server cant seem to find out how to serach for it at all
btw what is our serch info

this game just seems to auto load any server available for me ?

i must be the dumb one here,

There are two ways, you can manually enter it into the console (which is the window that runs in the background) or if you go to the server list it should be in the top 5 if sorted by name ;)

How to enter into console:
Just type: connect 75.68.14.14:28961
and hit enter

Are you using the CD version of the game or did you d/l it from alterIW.net?

Just install it to a separate folder than your CD version, then you can play in both!

Thanks Tom, but I did dl it and got it working fine, can now see all those servers and killzone,

kz is a 10 player server yes Tom ?,

if we get some of AS ppl to dl any chance this could increase in numbers ?

About the 10 player setting: yes, it can be changed up to 18 i believe, but 10 seems to provide a lagless server and better gameplay (Starts lagging out at 12+ at this point, could be I need to add more RAM to the server)

Is it a legal game, or a cracked version?

Niv i bought the game on cd but you cant see any off the servers on cd version, it just loads you into any server it wants this way,

so i dl it on the above link, now it shows servers to join dont know why but this way much better :)


BTW join AS mw2 server tonight and it was full

I got the info, that i need a bought CoD game version, and over this i have to install the downloaded Version from the link. Is this Info correct? Or is it possible to play legal only with the downloaded version?

To be honest I am not sure! They have a legit website and server lobby with thousands of people using it... Doesn't seem like they are trying to hide anything.
