Novaworld Server Control

That's the original one we used in Black ops Nova server.

We had to rename it in order to get it uploaded via ftp to Ca$hMonsters map folder (gave it a BMS extension) then using radmin renamed it back to .exe and moved it into the game folder. We whacked a shortcut to it in the StartUp folder so the server auto starts whenever they reboot which is handy. Make sure you stick it in the right folder (check the properties of the shortcut they stuck on the server desktop).

On first run, close the df2 server completely and run srvctl_nw.exe
It'll setup the config and start the server automatically.
After that first initial run it autopilots from that point on.

You can set rules printed at map start, etc by clicking on the various texts in the GUI.
Same goes for cycling maps and netdelay on demand.. just click the text and it happens.
Game Time, Start Timer, etc. are set by drop-down boxes, again in the GUI. It's all on-the-fly.
There's other stuff there, just click on it and it happens. It's all self-explanatory.
From memory it puntcrc's every 30 secs and displays a netdelay (to let you know it's working) every 5 minutes.

That version is purely for Novaworld 64 player (DF2S.EXE) but I did make a regular 16 player version after we dropped Black ops. I'll try to remember to dig the source back out and compile it for ya tonight or tomorrow. The 'regular' version has some extra shit in it like anti-anti-ban and anti-ci which works a treat. Gives a little more peace of mind for S&D.

Bah, ran off with the 32 player...they always do that...If you have a version for the 16 player that'd be great!
On another note... if you did like AS having a 32 player Nova server, you could Donate to the squad account, if we have enough monthly donations, we can get our own! (Monthly total needed would be $60 US....)
